For 2008 Kennet District Council Leisure Services have joined up with the event organisers to give the forth annual 10 mile trail race and 5 K fun run which will start and finish at the Green. The Leisure Centre which is very close to the finish will host the registration and logistics - showers and changing facilities.
The course is a mix of on and off road. The route includes sections of the tow path beside the famous Kennet and Avon canal as well as parts of Devizes town.

Charities
This year proceeds are in aid of two local charities, the Devizes and District Opportunity Centre and the Rowdeford Charity Trust. Both provide ongoing support for children with special needs. If you would like to run for either of these charities, a sponsorship form will be published here soon.
Devizes & District Opportunity Centre - is a specialist early years centre working to promote the overall development of very young children, birth to five years, who have a wide variety of additional needs.
Rowdeford Charity Trust - The Trust is independent of Rowdeford school and is a registered charity no. 1088605. Its object is the advancement of education for young people with disabilities and special needs.
